Mount Everest is the highest mountain on Earth and its beauty is like none other on Earth. The mountain, which is part of the Himalaya range in Asia, is located on the border between Sagarmatha Zone, Nepal, and Tibet, China. Climbing to the top has been the ultimate dream of many professional adventurers, but for the rest of us, we can enjoy this natural wonder just by standing at its foot. The best periods to admire Mount Everest are from April to June and from September to October.
2. Largest Desert in China: Taklamakan Desert in China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region


With an area of 330,000 square kilometers, China's largest desert, Taklamakan Desert, was once named "Sea of Death" by a western explorer, which is also the literal meaning of term Taklamakan in the local Uygur language.
Its vast landscape and fantastic desert vistas have always been an irresistible attraction to travelers around the world; luring brave tourists from across the world to trek through it.
3. Highest Salt Water Lake in China: Nam Co (纳木错) Lake, in China's Tibet Autonomous Region


With an altitude of more than 4,700 meters and an area of 1,940 square kilometers, Nam Co Lake, the highest saltwater lake in China, is such a sacred lake to Tibetans that it attracts many disciples to pilgrim from far and near. The lake, like a pearl embedded into the north Tibetan land, reflects the belief and pursuit of the Tibetans for many generations. On a more secular level, the natural scenery is so breathtaking that it attracts many photographers to catch its beauty.
